FOMO

Fear of Missing Out Experiences (FOMOE) is a non profit foundation set up to help the physically disabled attend any type of leisure or recreational events. The physically disabled are often not able to attend events due to high costs and in most cases living on limited income. Giving these individuals the freedom to participate in normal interactive social events creates a healthy positive mental state. Thus leading to a sense of being part of a social network and community.

Passion

I have a passion for individuals who are faced with physical disabilities as I too am physically disabled after a terrible motorcycle accident leaving me a double amputee. I have suffered intense physical pain but also immense emotional mental pain leading to anxiety and depression. I found myself scrolling through social media watching as the world was out enjoying live music events, parties, games, spiritual retreats, skydiving, hot air balloon rides and many more things I can no longer afford to do because I now live on a limited fixed income.

Financial Obstacles

Many physically disabled people are unable to work anymore creating a lack of funds preventing their ability to attend these social events. Missing out on these activities diminishes their lives producing a life of disharmony and lack of balance. This lack can cause anxiety and depression. Bringing joy and happiness to the physically disabled is the main purpose of FOMOE.
